A File of Life is a mini health record - a document you fill out and put in a magnetic holder that can be affixed to a refrigerator or other metal surface - which clearly states your medical history, allergies and medications.

Having a File of Life can make the difference between life and death in a medical emergency when there is often little or no time to gather important personal information.  Is the patient on blood thinners? Does the patient have a history of strokes, seizures, or cardiac issues? Does the patient have allergies? Answers to these questions can expedite treatment and provide for better patient outcomes.
