New Canaan EMS (NCEMS) provides 911 emergency medical care with transport to Norwalk or Stamford Hospitals, at no charge.
History in New Canaan
Formed in 1975, we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2025! NCEMS is one of a handful of emergency medical services in Connecticut 100% staffed by volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) providing EMS services free-of-charge.
